At Centre of Hope, we believe every participant deserves care that is built on trust, kindness, and understanding. That is why our Director, Senior Support Coordinator, and Psychosocial Recovery Coach, Mary Jacob, leads with her heart as much as her experience.

With many years of hands-on experience in Support Coordination, Mary has worked with participants from a wide range of disability backgrounds. She specialises in supporting people with complex needs, ensuring they have the right services, supports, and pathways in place to achieve their goals. Mary’s expertise also extends to Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, where she supports participants to build confidence, strengthen independence, and work towards recovery-focused outcomes.

Her background includes extensive work in Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and community services, as well as assisting clients involved with the justice system or transitioning from mental health units into safe and stable living arrangements.

What makes Mary truly stand out is her fun, approachable nature and deep compassion for the people she supports. She genuinely cares about every participant, always putting their needs and goals first. Families and participants often describe Mary as someone who not only gets things done but also makes them feel valued, supported, and heard.

Through Centre of Hope, Mary continues her mission of creating a space where participants feel empowered, respected, and cared for — every step of the way.
