How the NDIS funds in-home support
In-home support is usually paid from Assistance with daily life in your Core Supports budget. Core Supports funding is flexible, so you can use it across and within its categories in line with your plan.
The current price limits for these supports are in the NDIS Pricing Schedule. Price limits are maximums, not fixed prices.

Good questions, honest answers.
What tasks can in-home support help with?
The NDIA says daily life funding can pay for support workers to help with everyday tasks like cleaning, yard maintenance, cooking and personal care. We agree the exact tasks with you before we start.
Do I need to be home when my support worker visits?
That depends on the task and what you are comfortable with. We agree how visits work at the start.
Can the same worker come each time?
We work to keep your support consistent, with a regular worker wherever possible, so you are not explaining things again and again.
Can in-home support help me learn to do things myself?
Yes. If building your skills is one of your goals, we can focus on helping you do more yourself over time.
Is cleaning always covered by the NDIS?
Supports must relate to your disability and be in line with your plan. Your planner decides what is funded. We can help you understand what your plan covers.
Where do you provide in-home support?
We support participants in their homes across Sydney and New South Wales.
Make home work for you.
Tell us where you need a hand at home, and we will build the support around you.
