Allied Health Services in Sydney, behaviour support and early childhood intervention.
Centre of Hope's allied health services bring together positive behaviour support and early childhood intervention: support that builds skills, understanding and confidence for children, young people and adults with disability, and for the families, carers and educators around them. Centre of Hope is registered to deliver both under the NDIS, and early childhood intervention is also available to families as privately paid support.

Two services, one connected team.
Each service has its own page with what is included, who it is for and how the NDIS funds it.

Allied health questions, answered.
What allied health services does Centre of Hope provide?
Two services: positive behaviour support, for children, young people and adults who experience behaviours of concern, and early childhood intervention, play-based support for young children with developmental delay or disability and their families.
Are these services funded by the NDIS?
They can be. Positive behaviour support is funded from Capacity Building: Improved relationships, and early childhood intervention from Capacity Building: Improved daily living (early childhood supports). Centre of Hope is registered for both (registration groups 0110 and 0118). Early childhood intervention is also available to families as privately paid support.
My child is under 9. Where do we start with the NDIS?
For a child younger than 6 with developmental delay, or younger than 9 with disability, the NDIA asks families to contact the early childhood partner in their area. You can also call the NDIA on 1800 800 110. We are happy to talk it through with you first.
Do you work with schools, childcare and support teams?
Yes. Behaviour support works with parents, carers, schools and support workers so everyone uses the same strategies, and early childhood intervention gives practical strategies to childcare educators and preschool teachers.
Where do you provide support?
Across Sydney and NSW: at home, in the community and in the places children learn. Some behaviour support appointments can be held by video where that works well for you.
How do I get started?
